At Pashamylaram, out in Patancheru, you will find us at Plot No. 111/B in Phase-III. This is an industrial area, so there is always the sound of machines and trucks moving around. Our shop is where we do all the engineering work. There are stacks of metal parts and big machines that take up most of the floor space. It’s not a quiet place because there is always something being cut or welded or measured. We wear our boots and spend most of the day on our feet. The air smells like oil and burnt metal, which is just how an engineering workshop is supposed to be. We have some desks in the corner where we look at the drawings and plans, but most of the action happens out on the floor with the tools. Patancheru is quite a distance from the main city, so it feels like its own world of factories and warehouses. We get our supplies delivered by the big lorries that navigate the narrow roads of the industrial estate. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait, but usually, we are busy from start to finish. Our address is 502307 and we have been at this plot for a good amount of time. People who need parts made or machines fixed know where to find us. It’s hard work and your hands stay dirty, but that is the nature of engineering. We just keep the machines running and get the jobs finished one by one.
