Our place is located at Plot No. 20-1 in Racharla Gollapalii, which is under the Yellareddypet Mandal. It’s a bit of a trek if you are coming from the main city, but we like being out here. The air is a bit clearer, even if our shop is full of smoke from the welding. We do a lot of fabrication work, mostly making gates, frames, and other steel structures. There is a lot of cutting, grinding, and sparks flying around most of the day. We have a decent sized yard where we keep the larger pieces of steel and the finished items. Sometimes the cows from the nearby fields wander a bit too close to the gate, which is always a bit of a laugh for the guys. We aren't a corporate giant; we are just a local fabrication shop. We work with our hands and we use tools that have seen a lot of use over the years. Our orders come from people in the village and the surrounding Mandal. They know us by name, and we know most of them too. We don't have a formal dress code—just old clothes that can handle the grease and the burns from welding. It’s a hard day’s work every day, but it feels good to see a finished product loaded onto a truck at the end of the week. We just keep doing what we know how to do every day.
