Myathari Ambamma

I run my business from my house, H No 4-98, right here in Munipally Village. I’ve lived in this mandal all my life. It isn't a big operation with lots of employees. It is just me taking care of things as they come. People in the village know me well and they come by the house when they need something. I might be selling some goods from the farm or helping out with small local services. It’s a quiet life for the most part, but there is always something to do. The house is always open and there’s usually a pot of tea on the stove for whoever stops by. I don't have any formal training in business, I just learned by doing it over the years. My kids help me out when they are home from school or work. We don't have a sign outside or anything like that because everyone already knows where I am. Telangana summers are very hot, so I do most of my work in the early morning or late in the evening when it’s cooler. I don't use any fancy machines or computers. I just keep track of things in my head or on a small notepad I keep in my pocket. It’s a very simple way of living and working, but it’s what I know. Munipally is a good place to be.
