Karthikeya Paper Cups

We set up Karthikeya Paper Cups at Shop No 8-49/4, right near the Isnapur 'X' Road in Muthangi. It’s a busy spot with a lot of traffic passing by on the way through Patancheru. Inside the shop, we have the machines that punch out the cups from the paper rolls. It makes a rhythmic clicking sound all day long. We deal with boxes and stacks of white cups mostly. Some are small for tea and others are a bit larger. We started this because we saw everyone needed something disposable for their tea stalls and functions. It is a lot of repetitive work, checking the rims and making sure the bottoms are sealed right. We often have stacks of cardboard boxes waiting to be picked up by local tempos. The floor is usually covered in small paper scraps by the end of the shift. We aren’t a giant factory, just a small operation trying to keep up with the local demand around the 502 307 area. It gets a bit dusty with all the paper handling, but we’re used to it. Sometimes the heat from the sealing plates makes the room warm, especially in the summer months. We just keep the machines running and stack the finished products high. It’s straightforward work that keeps us busy from morning until late evening. There is always another batch of paper that needs to be loaded onto the feeder.
