Vedant International School

Vedant International School is situated in Dhanghera, which is part of the Mayurbhanj district. We use the word "International" in our name because of the curriculum we follow, but we are really just a local school serving the families in this part of Odisha. The area around the school is quite green and open, which gives the students a nice, quiet place to focus on their lessons. We have a decent building with enough classrooms to hold all the different grades we teach. It is not like a crowded school in a big city, so there is plenty of room for everyone to move around. Children come here from Dhanghera and several of the smaller villages nearby. The school day starts pretty early, and some of the staff have a bit of a journey to get here on time. We focus on the regular subjects like science and social studies, but we also try to make sure the kids get some time to run around outside. The playground is usually full of energy during the afternoon breaks. We do not have anything too fancy like tablets for the kids; we just use books and explain things the old-fashioned way. It is a practical school where we want the students to get a solid foundation for their future. The local community is very close, so we end up knowing most of the parents personally and talking to them often.
