Sherwood Nursery & Primary School

Sherwood Nursery & Primary School is located in the Ram Indra Building on the Main Road. This is over in Annamalainagar, which is part of Chidambaram. We use several rooms for the nursery and primary kids. Since it’s Chidambaram, it’s often humid, and the stone floors in some parts of the building stay nice and cool. The kids arrive early, and the noise level goes up instantly. We have a small staff who looks after the place. You’ll find the office tucked away on the ground floor. It’s a practical space, not something out of a magazine. We have old desks and cupboards filled with books and registers. The morning assembly happens in the central area if the weather is okay. Otherwise, we stay inside. Living and working in Annamalainagar means we are close to everything. Most parents just walk their children over. It’s a tight-knit kind of place.
