Signtecg

If you go to Madava Junction in Haripad, you'll see the P.V. Buildings where we work. Our shop, Signtecg, is situated right there. It is a busy intersection, so there is always a lot of movement outside our windows. We do a lot of work with signs and graphics, so the place is usually littered with scraps of vinyl and bits of cut plastic. We have a couple of large printers and a cutting machine that makes a high-pitched humming sound most of the afternoon. The building is older, with high ceilings and fans that spin all day to keep the Kerala heat at bay. It’s not the most organized place, as we tend to have projects spread out across every available table. I usually spend my morning answering messages and figuring out which job needs to be finished first. We have a small area in the front where people can sit while they tell us what they need. Sometimes the rain here is so loud on the roof that we have to stop talking for a minute. We don't have a marketing team or anything; we just do the work as it comes in. Most of the locals know us from the junction. It’s a decent place to work, even if the floor is always covered in sticky bits of tape. We just try to get the signs looking right and get them out the door.
