National Computers

Working on the Mavelikkara to Kozhencherry Road means there is a lot of traffic passing by National Computers all the time. We are situated in Old Mavelikkara, and it’s a spot that most locals know pretty well. Inside the shop, it’s a bit of a mess with cables, old monitors, and tools scattered across the workbenches. We spend our time trying to figure out why things aren't turning on or fixing broken screens. The air usually smells a bit like warm electronics and solder. Mavelikara has its own pace, and while the road outside is busy, the shop feels like its own little world. We get people dropping off their laptops and then heading out to run other errands in Old Mavelikkara. Sometimes we have to wait for parts to arrive, so things can pile up on the shelves. It’s not a corporate showroom; it’s a working repair spot where things actually get fixed. We have a couple of chairs for people to sit while they wait, but they usually just stand and talk while we work. The weather in Kerala can be unpredictable, so we’ve seen plenty of rainy days through the front window. We just keep doing what we do, fixing one computer at a time and keeping the shop running. It’s steady, honest work that keeps us busy from morning till evening.
