Aditi Homes

We've been working out of Ananthezuthu Veedu in Pillapuzha for a good while now. Haripad is where we mostly do our things, right near the railway station. If you know the area, you know it gets busy when the trains come in. We started this because we liked building houses that actually stay standing through the Kerala monsoon. My uncle used to say that a house is just walls until someone puts a stove in it, and that’s how we look at it. We spend most of our days talking to folks about where they want their windows or how big the kitchen should be. It’s not always easy, sometimes the materials don't show up on time or the rain stops everything for a week, but we get there. We’re just a small team in Alappuzha trying to do right by the people who trust us. You can usually find us at the office near the tracks, though we’re out at sites more often than not. There is no fancy lobby or anything, just some chairs and a lot of paper rolls with drawings on them. We don't really do the big city corporate thing, we just prefer sitting down and figuring out how to make a home work for a family. It’s quiet enough here in Pillapuzha most days. We like it that way because it lets us focus on the bricks and mortar.
