Sanjay Garments

We've been at 508 Sadar Bazar for a long time now. It’s always crowded here, especially in the mornings when the trucks arrive and everyone is trying to move stuff around. Sanjay Garments started small, just a few racks and some shirts, and it kind of just stayed that way but with more piles of clothes. People come in looking for specific things, and usually, we can find it if they give us a minute to dig through the back. The stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful when walking up. My brother handles most of the inventory while I sit near the front. We don't have fancy lights or anything. Just the usual fans and some tube lights that flicker sometimes. Most of the folks who buy from us have been coming for years. They know we're here from Monday to Saturday. Sunday is when we finally get to rest and clean up the shop a bit. It’s hard work, standing all day, but it’s what we do. The clothes we have are mostly for daily wear, nothing too flashy. If someone wants something expensive, they usually go somewhere else. We keep things simple here. Sometimes it gets dusty because of the road outside, but we try to keep the stock covered. It’s just a regular shop in a very busy part of the city. We hope to stay here for another twenty years if things go well. It's not a big company, just us.
