Sakshi Gopal & Co.

We are tucked away in Vipralambha Kunj, right on Bhut Gali. If you’re walking down Gopeshwar Road, you might miss the turn if you aren’t looking for it. The building has a lot of character, maybe a bit too much sometimes when the plumbing acts up. We’ve been operating Sakshi Gopal & Co. from here for quite some time. It’s a small team, mostly family and a couple of guys from the neighborhood. We deal with various items and keep a close eye on the stock we have in the back rooms. The alleyway gets narrow, so deliveries can be a bit of a headache, but we manage. We spend a lot of our time just sitting at the wooden tables, going over the accounts and talking to the people who stop by. It’s not a high-tech operation. We still use a lot of paper notebooks to keep track of things. Sometimes we sit outside when the weather is nice. The street noise is just part of the background for us now. We don’t really have a big sign out front, just a small one near the door. People find us through word of mouth mostly. It’s a quiet way to run a business. We just do what needs doing every day and head home when the work is finished. There is always a stray cat or two hanging around the entrance waiting for a snack.
