If you head over to Mandi Ramdas and look for the Judge Compound, you’ll find us tucked away in there. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned area, which we like. The building is made of thick stone, so it stays relatively cool even when the sun is beating down outside. We have a lot of crates and boxes stacked up because we are always getting shipments in or sending things out. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. You just walk in and someone will be there at a desk covered in papers. We’ve been operating out of this spot for several years now. It gets quite noisy when the market is in full swing, with people shouting and carts rattling past the gate. We mostly just keep our heads down and get through the list of things to do. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we have to do things the old way with pen and paper. It’s just a small team of us working here. We don't have a big corporate structure or fancy titles. We just do our jobs and go home to our families. It’s a practical way to run a business and it has worked for us so far.
