If you know the Holi Gate area, then you know how crowded and lively Kothwali Road gets. That is where J.K Traders is located, right near Govind Ganj and just opposite Sera Suits. It’s one of those parts of town where there is always something happening outside the door. We spend most of our time dealing with the inventory that comes through. Being in such a central spot means we have people coming and going all the time. Our shop is packed with goods, sometimes right up to the ceiling because space is always a bit tight here. We do a lot of wholesale and retail stuff, mainly just traditional trading like people have done here for years. It’s a noisy place with rickshaws and people everywhere, but we like the energy of it. Some days are just about counting stock and making sure the ledgers are right. We don't have a website or anything like that; we prefer just talking to the people who walk in. The building is old, and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it works for what we do. We try to keep things simple. If someone needs something we have, we get it for them. It’s honest work that keeps us on our feet from morning until the market closes at night. Every day is a bit different depending on what kind of shipments arrive. We aren't big on decorations, just focusing on moving the stock.
