Our place is over at Plot No 1 in Jamuna Bagh. It’s tucked right near Sadar Bazar, so we are never far from the noise of the market. You can hear the vegetable sellers and the rickshaws from early in the morning. Being at the start of the bagh makes it easy for people to find us without getting lost in the narrower lanes further back. We’ve got a decent amount of space here, though it’s mostly filled with boxes and inventory. We don't spend much time on making things look pretty. It’s more about being functional. We open the shutters around ten and usually stay late if there’s work left. The neighborhood is friendly enough, and we know most of the other shop owners nearby. We often share tea in the afternoons when things slow down a bit. Sadar Bazar is always a hive of activity, so there’s never a dull moment. We see people from all over coming to buy things. We just do our part in the middle of it all. It can get quite hot in the summer, especially with the metal roof on part of the storage area. We just keep the fans going and get through the day. It’s been our home for years, and we don't plan on moving anytime soon. We just keep doing what we've been doing for ages in this little corner.
