Durgesh Steels

Durgesh Steels is situated at Plot No. C-239 in Sector-2 of Talanagri. We are quite close to Ramghat Road, which is always packed with trucks and laborers moving back and forth. This area is mostly industrial, so there is always the sound of metal clanging or engines idling nearby. Our plot is basically just a big storage area filled with steel sections, rods, and heavy plates. Dealing with steel is heavy work, and our clothes usually end up covered in rust or dust by lunchtime. We spend the morning checking the stock that came in overnight and making sure everything is organized so we can find it later. It is not a quiet job, and your hands get pretty rough from handling the material day in and day out. The sun beats down on the metal, making it hot to the touch in the summer months, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early. People come by from construction sites around Aligarh looking for specific sizes, and we spend a lot of time measuring and cutting things down. There is a small shack down the road where we get our lunch, and that is usually the only time the noise stops for us. It is a straightforward business with no frills, just a lot of heavy lifting and keeping track of the inventory in the yard. We have been at this plot for a bit, and we know the rhythms of the industrial sector here.
