The shop is right there in Attkhamba, directly across from the Rasik Bihari Mandir. If you know the temple, you know where we are. It stays really loud outside because of the bells and the people visiting for prayers. We have been here for a long time, selling all sorts of costumes and outfits. The place is packed from floor to ceiling with hangers and boxes. Honestly, it’s a bit of a mess most of the time, especially when it’s school play season and parents are rushing in. We try our best to keep track of everything, but sometimes a hat or a pair of wings gets lost in the back. My sister does most of the organizing while I handle the customers at the front counter. The fan makes a clicking sound that we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We have benches for people to sit on while they wait, though they are usually covered in fabric scraps. The lighting isn't very bright, so we sometimes have to take things out to the doorway to see the true color of the cloth. It’s a small space for how much stock we keep, so you have to watch your step. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us making sure things don't fall over. It’s just how things go in this part of town. Everyone is always in a hurry.
