Computer Operator

You can find me working as a Computer Operator in Villselakhera, which is under the Post Patalauni in the Mathura district, 281301 Up. It’s a rural spot, so things move a bit slower here than they do in the big cities. I have my computer set up in a corner of the main room. I spend my days typing and checking various records that need processing. It’s a lot of sitting, but I’ve become used to it over the years. The village life is good, even if the electricity isn’t always reliable during the day. I’ve lived in Mathura my whole life and I wouldn't really want to be anywhere else. People come by sometimes when they need things typed up or some papers scanned. I don’t charge much, just enough to keep the machine running and the lights on in the room. It’s a simple setup with an old keyboard that makes a lot of noise when I type fast. My desk is just a wooden table I’ve had for a long time. There isn't any fancy sign outside the door or anything like that. If you know the village well, you already know where I am located. I try to keep the dust off the computer screen, but in this part of UP, it’s a constant battle every day. I just get on with it and do what needs doing. It’s not a big business, just a local person doing computer work for whoever needs it. I take my breaks and enjoy the fresh air.
