Our place is out in Farmagudi, Ponda, which is a bit of a different vibe compared to the coastal parts of Goa. It’s much more inland and surrounded by a lot of greenery. The college has been sitting here for a long time, and you can tell by the way the buildings look. They have that solid, older feel to them. Since we are in Ponda, it gets quite warm during the day, so everyone usually looks for a bit of shade during the breaks. Students hang out in the corridors or under the trees between their lectures. It’s not a fast-paced place; things move at a bit of a slower rhythm here. We have different departments spread out, and walking from one side to the other can take a few minutes if you aren't rushing. The canteen is usually the busiest spot around lunchtime when everyone is trying to grab a quick bite. We don't have all those polished marketing brochures or a big PR team. We just open the doors in the morning, the professors get to their classrooms, and the day goes on. You’ll see a lot of bikes parked out front since that’s how most people get around in Goa. Sometimes the power goes out if the weather gets bad, but we just wait it out and get back to work. It’s a very grounded kind of environment where people just come to get through their studies and move on.
