Ramesh Transport

Ramesh Transport is out here in Lakkaram village. If you know the Mutharam mandal in Karimnagar, you probably know where we sit. It’s just house number 2-66, nothing fancy at all. We’ve been around this part of Telangana for a bit now. Most days start early before the sun really hits the ground. Dealing with trucks and moving things from one spot to another keeps us pretty busy. Some days the roads are okay and other days they are a bit of a mess, especially when it rains heavy around here. We just try to get the job done without too much fuss. It’s mostly just us and the drivers chatting over tea in the mornings while we check the engines. People in the village know where to find us if they need something shifted to the next town. We don't have a big office or a lobby, just the space we work from every day. It gets dusty, and there is always something needing a bit of grease or a quick fix. That is just how it goes with this kind of work. The village is quiet mostly, except for when the engines are turning over and warming up. It’s a simple setup. We don't spend much time on the computer or writing things down, we just focus on the loads and the timing. Sometimes we are heading into Karimnagar town and other times we stay more local. It’s steady work and we are used to the rhythm.
