We are set up at 209, Main Road in Thirupathur, which is part of Thiruturaipoondi. Being on the main road makes it easy for people to find us when they need cement work done. We spend most of our time out back or in the yard where the mixing happens. It’s a messy business, to be honest. There’s white dust on everything, including our shoes and the old truck we use for deliveries. We make things like rings for wells, some slabs, and other small cement parts that folks around here need for their houses. It’s heavy work and it makes your back ache by the end of the day. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just see the finished products sitting out front by the road and stop their bikes to ask about the price. We’ve been in this same spot for a long time, so everyone knows who we are. The sun is hot out here, so we try to get the heavy casting done early in the morning. Sometimes we sit under the shade of the big tree and share some food while the cement sets. It’s a simple life. We don’t promise anything we can’t do. If the cement isn't dry, we tell you to wait. It’s just about making things that last and earning a living without too much complication. That’s how we do things at T C L.
