At Proctor Organics Pvt. Ltd., we’re located at No.40 on Old Hospital Road. Aranthangi is a fairly quiet town, but this road stays pretty active with people going back and forth. Our building isn't anything special to look at from the outside. Inside, we keep things pretty tidy because of the work we do. We deal with various organic compounds and materials that require a bit of focus. It's not like a regular shop where people just wander in and out. Most of our time is spent checking labels and making sure the drums are sealed right. The light in the back room flickers sometimes, which is annoying when you're trying to read fine print. We have a small team here. Most of us have been working together for a few years now, so we know who takes their tea with how much sugar. We don’t do much advertising; people just know we are here on the corner. Sometimes the smell of the stuff we handle lingers on our clothes even after we leave. It’s a steady kind of job. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing the tasks that come across the desk each morning. When the supply trucks arrive, it’s a bit of a scramble to get everything unloaded and into the storage area before the midday heat hits. It keeps us on our toes. The paperwork is never finished, but we manage to stay on top of things.
