Eranad Rock Stand

We are located at 87 Kadamparambu. It’s really just a simple yard where we keep the rocks and stones we’ve gathered. We’ve been here for a while now, and the neighbors know us pretty well. It’s not a fancy operation by any means. Most days are spent moving heavy piles around or helping someone load up a trailer for a garden project or a wall they’re building. The dust can get pretty bad when the wind picks up, but that’s just part of working with stone. We didn’t start this with some big grand plan. We just saw that people in the area needed a place to get good rock without having to drive forever. It’s hard on the back, and the equipment breaks down more often than we’d like, but we manage to keep things going. Sometimes it’s quiet and we just sit around and talk, and other times it’s a total mess with three trucks trying to get in at once. We don't have a big office or a secretary to answer the phones, so if we don't pick up right away, we’re probably out in the yard. We try to be fair with people and just give them what they need. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We’ve seen a lot of houses go up around here using our stone, which is a nice feeling. We’re just a local business doing our thing day by day.
