Tender Foot

Tender Foot is located over in Bejai, right on the Bejai Church Road in Mangalore. It’s a decent spot, not too far from the main road, and easy for people to find when they are out running errands. The building is D No 4-2-260, and we’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us by now. The weather in Mangalore can be quite something, so we spend a lot of time either dealing with the rain or the humidity inside the shop. We deal with shoes and things like that, so there are always boxes being moved around or displays being adjusted. It’s not a high-pressure environment; we just take things as they come. You might see us standing near the door catching a bit of a breeze or chatting with someone who just walked in from the church nearby. The floor usually has a bit of dust from the street, and we are constantly tidying up after customers try things on. It’s a simple life running a local business here. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone telling us how to speak to people. We just say hello and help out with whatever is needed. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out. It’s a small, practical place that serves the local community without making a big deal about it. We’re just happy to be part of the Bejai neighborhood and doing our own thing.
