Stevan Genaral Store

Stevan Genaral Store is located at 458, Sai Arcade. You will find our shop right on Bejai Kapikad Road. It’s a decent-sized space but we have managed to cram a lot of different products into the shelves over the years. We carry everything from basic soap and toothpaste to school notebooks and some dry snacks. The Sai Arcade building is easy enough for most people to spot if they are driving down the main road. I started this place because I wanted to work for myself and I have learned a lot since the first day we opened. There is always a lot of paperwork to do and I have to spend time making sure the inventory actually matches what is sitting on the shelves. Most days it is just me and a young helper working behind the counter. We get a lot of people coming in right after their work shift to pick up things they forgot for dinner. The lighting inside is a bit too bright sometimes, but it helps the customers see the labels on the packages clearly. We do not do any big advertising or put up flyers around town. Most people just know we are here because they pass by every day on their commute. Sometimes the neighborhood kids come in for a few sweets or a cold drink. It’s a simple life running a shop on Bejai Kapikad Road, but it keeps us very busy.
