Raj Computer

Raj Computer is right in the middle of things at NO. 51 in the Central Market Building. This is the Hampankatta area, so it’s always crowded and loud with people buying groceries or just walking through. We are directly opposite the Rupavani Theater. You can usually hear the sounds from the street clearly inside the shop, especially when there’s a new movie playing or during the festival seasons. The building itself is one of those old ones with a lot of character and maybe a few cracks in the walls, but it’s sturdy enough. We’ve got computers and parts scattered around most of the desks. It’s not the neatest office you’ve ever seen, but we know where everything is. People stop by on their way to the market, sometimes just to ask a quick question or to see if we have a specific cable. It gets dusty pretty fast because of all the traffic outside, so we are always wiping down the monitors. The theater across the street is a good landmark for people who aren't familiar with Hampankatta. We’ve been in this Central Market spot for quite a while now. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are inside at once, but we make it work. Most days are just about fixing what’s broken and trying to keep the fans running so it doesn’t get too hot in here.
