Prajwal Food Products is located in Chokkabettu, which is right in the Surathkal area. We’re actually quite near to the NITK campus, so we get a lot of students and staff passing by. Our setup is simple because we focus on the food products themselves rather than a fancy storefront. The air around here often smells like whatever we’re processing that day. It’s a local operation, and most of the people working here live nearby. We don’t have a massive factory, just a clean space where we get things done properly. The equipment hums along all day. It’s a bit noisy, but we’re used to it. We keep things pretty informal. If you come by, you’ll probably see us in our work gear. We aren't interested in making things look corporate. We just want the food to be right. The building isn't much to look at from the outside, but inside we stay busy. Being near the college gives the area a good energy. We’ve been in Chokkabettu for a good stretch of time and have seen the neighborhood grow and change. We just keep doing what we know how to do, making our products and getting them out to the shops. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till evening. We’re just regular folks making stuff people use every day and we enjoy the steady pace.
