Plans Architects And Interiors is based out of Kavoor here in Mangalore. We don't have a fancy building name to give you, just our spot in the neighborhood. Kavoor is a good place to work from because it’s got a bit more breathing room than the middle of the city. Our setup is pretty simple. It’s just an office where we draw up plans and talk about how to make rooms look better. We’ve been doing this for a long time, so we’ve seen all sorts of requests. Some days we are out on sites getting our shoes dirty, and other days we are stuck behind our desks all day. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a big staff or different departments for everything. Usually, whoever answers the phone is the same person who will be drawing the sketches. We like it that way because it keeps things direct. The office itself is full of catalogs, measuring tapes, and half-empty coffee mugs. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We don't put on an act when people come to visit. We just sit down, maybe offer a glass of water, and get right to the point. Most of our work comes from people nearby who have seen what we do. We don't spend money on big ads or marketing people. We just focus on the drawings and hope the work speaks for itself at the end of the day. It's how we've always done it.
