Martins Hyper Market

Martins Hyper Market is located in the Muller Nest building in Jeppu, specifically in the Souterpet area. It’s a busy neighborhood grocery and general store. We open up early in the morning because that’s when people want their milk and bread before work. The shelves are packed with everything from soap to snacks, and we try to keep things organized, though it gets a bit messy when the afternoon rush hits. We have a few people working here who know where everything is. The Muller Nest building is a well-known spot, so people find us easily. There is a lot of chatter at the billing counter as neighbors catch up on local news while they wait. It’s not like those giant malls where nobody knows your name. We recognize most of the faces that come in every day. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road for a minute while we unload the crates of produce. It’s a bit of a squeeze but everyone in Jeppu is used to it. The floor gets swept a few times a day, but with so many people coming in from Souterpet, it’s hard to keep it perfect. We just want to make sure the shelves are stocked and the fridge is cold for the drinks. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting boxes and stocking the aisles, but it keeps us busy. We are just a local market serving the Jeppu community as best as we can.
