Limesoda & Sweet Corn

If you are walking down Chilimbi Main Road near Akash Tower, you have probably seen our little spot. Limesoda & Sweet Corn started out because it gets so hot around here and people always want something cold or a quick snack while they wait for the bus. We are located at 487 in the tower area, which is a pretty busy corner in Ladyhill. Most of our day is spent squeezing limes and boiling corn so it is fresh when someone stops by. It’s not a big corporate operation or anything like that, just a small counter where we do our thing. We get a lot of students and people working in the nearby offices who just need a five-minute break. Sometimes the salt runs out or the soda machine acts up, but we fix it and keep going. We have been in Chillimbi for a bit now and we like the crowd here. The traffic on the main road never really stops, so there is always someone looking for a drink. We don't have fancy seating, just the counter and the smell of fresh corn in the air. It’s a simple life and we enjoy talking to the regulars who come by every afternoon. We just try to keep the drinks cold and the corn hot, which is harder than it sounds when it’s busy. You can usually hear us from across the street.
