My office is located in the Pearl Apartments building, specifically on the second floor in room 306. My name is Joseph Paul Marian Fernandes, and I have been based here in Pandeshwar, Mangalore, for quite a while now. The 575001 area is a well-known part of the city to most folks. Pearl Apartments is a familiar building to many who live around here or work in the vicinity. Working from the second floor gives me a little bit of a view of the street below, though I am usually too busy with paperwork to look out the window much. The office is a modest space. Pandeshwar is a busy neighborhood with a lot of different businesses and homes mixed together. I like the energy of the area. Most of my day is spent sorting through various documents and talking to people who need some help with their records. I do not use any fancy software to manage things; I still prefer the old-fashioned way of keeping detailed records on paper. Sometimes the building can be a bit quiet in the afternoons, but that is when I get most of my reading done. It is a straightforward life here. I come in every morning and do what needs to be done.
