Hewlett Packard

You can find us at the Talisman Apartments on Alvares Road in Kadri. This is in Mangalore, so we get that nice sea breeze sometimes, but mostly it’s just humid. We are in apartment 101 on the first floor. It’s a quiet residential street, which is nice because it’s not as noisy as the main parts of town. We handle things for Hewlett Packard from here. It’s not a huge office building like you might see in other cities, just a regular apartment setup. We have our desks and computers all pushed in together. The neighborhood of Kadri is pretty well known for the temple and the park nearby. Sometimes we take a walk down Alvares Road just to get some air during the day. The building is older but it’s sturdy and has a lot of character. We know the security guards and the other people living in the apartments. It’s a bit different working from a place like this, but it works for us. We spend our days dealing with tech stuff and paperwork. Sometimes the rain in Mangalore is so loud on the windows we can barely hear the phone, but that’s just life here. We don’t have any fancy signs outside, just the apartment number. It’s an honest way to work, and we just keep at it every day in our own quiet way.
