Grace Ice Cream Parlour

You will find us in Jeppu, right across from the Fathima Retreat House in the Shanti Kedra Building. It’s a relatively calm area compared to the center of the city. We get a lot of people who are visiting the retreat house or just walking through the neighborhood. The building is easy to spot once you’re on the main road there. Inside, we have a few display freezers and some chairs for visitors. We don’t have any big advertisements or flashy slogans. It’s just a place to get some ice cream when you feel like it. The atmosphere is usually quite peaceful. Sometimes we have groups come in after a service or a meeting across the street. We try to keep the flavors varied so there is something for everyone. The tile floor is old but we keep it mopped. Since we are in the Shanti Kedra Building, we have some neighbors who run other small offices and shops. We all know each other. The breeze from the coast sometimes makes its way here, which is nice in the summer. We spend our time serving customers and making sure the machines are running right. It’s a quiet life in Jeppu. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just open the doors every morning and see who comes by. It’s a steady job and we’ve been at this spot for quite some time now.
