Cool In Cool Garments

Cool In Cool Garments is on the first floor of the New Central Market Building. We are right on Market Road at No 6. It’s a very busy part of town. The market is always crowded with people buying and selling everything you can think of. Being on the first floor is good because we are away from the mud of the street but still close enough to see everything. Our shop is full of garments from floor to ceiling. We don't have much wall space left because of the shelves. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the stacks of clothes. The building itself is an old market structure, so it has that specific smell of old stone and commerce. We have a couple of fans that rattle a bit while they spin. The light from the street comes through the front, but we use bright bulbs in the back to see the colors clearly. We deal with many customers who come through the market. It’s a lot of talking and moving things around. Sometimes the hallway outside is blocked with crates, so you have to squeeze past. We’ve been here a long time, and we know most of the other shopkeepers in the building. It’s a noisy, lively place to spend the day. We don't do anything special, just sell our garments to whoever needs them. It’s a simple business in a busy market.
