We are up on the 4th floor, so we get a bit of a view of the street below, which is always busy with traffic and people walking to the local market. Our mailing address is P. O. Box No. 18. This company, M/s. Kishore Kumar & Company (exports) Pvt. Ltd., has been operating out of this spot for quite a while. The building is one of those older structures that has a lot of character, though the elevator can be a bit slow some days. We do export work, so our desks are usually covered in manifests and shipping logs. It’s a lot of manual checking to make sure nothing gets missed. The 4th-floor office is mostly quiet, which is good when we need to focus on the numbers. We have a small pantry where we keep some biscuits and coffee. It’s a very standard workplace. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, check the mail, answer the phones, and try to get the exports moving out on time. G. H. S. Road is a historical part of the area, and it feels good to be working in a building with so much history. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay organized amidst all the paperwork that comes with this kind of business. It’s not always easy, but we get it done.
