Mas Shamiyana & Furnitures

Mas Shamiyana & Furnitures is located at Singala Chambers on Maidan 4th Cross Road. We are quite close to the Rao & Rao Circle, which is a major landmark in this part of town. Our business is a bit different from others because we deal with physical items like tents, chairs, and tables. The space in Singala Chambers is mostly used for storage and maintenance. We spend a lot of time checking the fabric of the shamiyanas for any tears and making sure the furniture is sturdy. It is a lot of heavy lifting, moving stacks of chairs and metal poles in and out of the warehouse. Maidan Road can be very dusty and loud, but that is just the nature of being near a major circle like Rao & Rao. We have a crew that handles the loading and unloading of the trucks. Some days we are out in the sun for hours setting things up at different locations. When we are back at Singala Chambers, we are usually cleaning the equipment or organizing the stock. It is a very practical business. We do not have a fancy office for meetings. Most of our business is done right there on the shop floor or over the phone. We have been at this location on Maidan 4th Cross for a while and the locals know us. We just focus on keeping our inventory in good shape and getting the trucks loaded on time.
