Jss College For Women

Jss College For Women is located in Vijaynagara, Kollegal, which is in the Mysore area of Karnataka. We have a campus here that has been around for quite some time. It is a place specifically for women to come and get their higher education. Being in Kollegal, we are a bit away from the main city of Mysore, which makes it a quieter environment for the students to focus. The buildings are old but sturdy. We have several departments and a library where students spend a lot of time. It’s common to see groups of girls sitting under the trees during their lunch break talking or studying together. We have a lot of administrative work to do every day, keeping track of all the different courses and student records. The office is often a bit chaotic with stacks of files and people coming in with various questions. We don't have any fancy marketing or professional writers helping us with this. This is just a place where people work hard to get through their degrees. We deal with the usual college issues like exam schedules and faculty meetings. The staff here has been part of the local community for a long time. We just keep the doors open and do our jobs. It’s a basic, functional college for the women in this part of Karnataka. We even have a small canteen where they serve tea and snacks.
