Natraj Exports

Natraj Exports is located at 28 New Anaj Mandi. Things are a bit different here compared to the old market since there is a little more room for the trucks to turn around. We spend most of our time looking at bags of grain and checking the quality before they get loaded up for the long haul. It is a lot of back and forth with the transporters and the guys working the docks. The office is small and usually smells like coffee and old paper. We have a lot of samples sitting on the shelves in glass jars. You can hear the noise of the market outside all day long. It’s mostly the sound of engines and people shouting over the wind. We don’t have any fancy signs or big displays. It’s just 28 New Anaj Mandi, a place where we get the job done. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is behind schedule and the paperwork is piling up. The guys eat lunch together on the crates when the sun is too hot to stay out in the yard. We know most of the people around here by name. It is a busy life but it feels good to see the grain moving out to different places. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the day's load. It is dusty and loud, but that is the way a mandi works. We don't bother with anything flashy, just the daily routine.
