Florence International School

If you go down Mandsaur Road, you’ll eventually see Florence International School. We’ve been here in Mandsaur for quite a few years now. The school does the basic things that need doing. We have a few different blocks for the various grades. It’s not a massive campus, but it’s got enough room for everyone. The teachers are mostly local people who know the families around here. We don’t have a marketing team, so what you see when you visit is exactly how it is every day. The classrooms have the normal desks and boards, and we use whatever materials we have for the lessons. Some days it’s very loud, and other days it’s completely silent, especially when there are exams going on. We deal with the typical school problems like lost water bottles, parents wanting to talk about marks, and keeping the bus drivers on schedule. The building is getting a little older, but it’s still in good shape. We focus on getting through the books and making sure the students are ready for their exams. There is no fancy talk here. We just show up, open the doors, and get to work. During the rainy season, the yard gets a bit muddy, but we manage. It’s a decent, honest place to be. We know most of the kids by their names, which makes it feel like a community. 458001 is a busy town, but it’s quiet enough inside the school gates. We just keep things moving.
