Span Resorts

If you are driving down the Kullu Manali Highway, you will find us near P.O. Katrain in the Kullu district. It is a long stretch of road and things can get pretty busy with all the trucks and cars passing through 175129. We have been Span Resorts at this location for quite some time. The weather out here changes fast and we spend a lot of time just keeping up with the yard and the driveway. It is not like those polished places you see in magazines. We have some older wooden furniture and the gates sometimes creak when the wind picks up. It is a practical spot for people who are traveling between the towns. We don't have a big team but everyone here knows how to handle the local conditions. Sometimes the power goes out when there is a storm but we always have candles and lanterns ready to go. The air is fresh though. You can hear the highway noise during the day but it gets quiet at night. We just keep the place tidy and make sure everything is working as it should. There is no complicated system here. Just simple daily work to keep Span Resorts running for whoever stops by. It is a bit dusty because of the road but that is just how it is living on a highway. We stay busy with the upkeep and talking to the neighbors. It is a plain, honest way of living and working.
