Shri Hanumant Lal Flour Mills Privatelimited

Our mill, Shri Hanumant Lal Flour Mills Privatelimited, is located right near the Naveen Mandi on Sthalgonda Road. Being so close to the mandi means there is always a lot of traffic and noise outside our doors, but that is just how it is around here. We spend most of our mornings getting the machines ready and checking the grain that comes in. It gets quite dusty inside the mill, especially when we are running at full speed, so we wear old clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. There is a lot of heavy lifting involved too. We carry bags back and forth all day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit around and wait for it to come back on, which gives us a chance to have some tea and talk. It’s a straightforward business. We don't do much besides milling and keeping the place running as best as we can. People drive by on Gonda Road all the time, heading to the market or going home. We’ve been at this spot for a bit and the locals know the sound of our engines by now. It’s just honest work with flour and machinery. We try to keep the place organized, but with all the bags and the dust, it’s a constant battle. That is just part of being in the flour business. We just take it one day at a time and do what needs to be done before the sun goes down.
