Jayant Agro Farm

Jayant Agro Farm is situated in Village Rikki, near Po Bainthal in the Karsog Tehsil of Mandi district. It is quite a journey to get here if you are coming from the city. The landscape is mostly green, and we are surrounded by hills and fields. Life here follows the seasons. We are usually up before the sun to check on things. It is not a corporate farm with big machines; it is more about manual work and being on the ground. The weather dictates what we do every single day. If it rains, we change our plans. If it’s dry, we are out watering. The office part of the farm is just a small room where we keep our logs and seeds. It is dusty and smells like the earth, which is how it should be. We deal with the locals a lot, swapping stories and tips about the soil. It is a very hands-on existence. Sometimes things don't grow right, or a storm hits, and we just have to start over. That is just the way of life in Rikki. We don't have a website or a marketing team. We just have our land and our hands. It is hard work, and our backs often ache by the end of the day, but being out in the fresh air of Mandi makes it worth it. We just keep going until it is dark.
