We are based at Shop No. 2 in the Devi Ahiliya Fal Mandi. If you’ve ever been to the fruit market, you know how hectic it gets. Chogala Agro Industries isn't some big corporate entity; we’re just right there in the middle of the noise and the crates. Every morning starts way before the sun is up. The trucks arrive, and the shouting starts, and we’re right in the thick of it. We deal with a lot of different fruits depending on the month. It’s a fast-paced environment where you have to know your stuff or you’ll get lost. Our space is small and usually crowded with boxes and people. It’s not the cleanest or the quietest place to work, but it’s where the action is. We spend our time talking to growers and buyers, trying to get things moved quickly before the heat gets to the produce. It’s a lot of physical work and constant movement. Sometimes we don't even have time to sit down for lunch. We aren't worried about looking professional; we're worried about making sure the fruit is handled right. The Mandi has its own rules and its own rhythm. We’ve been here long enough to understand how it all works. It’s a tough business, but there’s a certain energy to it that you don't find anywhere else. We just show up every day and do our part in the market. It’s a long day, but it’s okay.
