Shantiniketan Manasi Vikalandiri Kendra School

Shantiniketan Manasi Vikalandiri Kendra School is located out in Mudhole, in the Adilabad district. We are a specialized school that focuses on helping children who have different needs. The environment here is quite different from a standard school because we have to be very patient and adapt to each student. Our building is simple and sits in a quieter part of Mudhole, which is better for the kids. We have a small team of workers who have been doing this for a long time. It’s not easy work, and some days are definitely harder than others, but we keep showing up. We don't have much in the way of fancy equipment, so we make do with what we have. The rooms are basic, with enough space for the activities we do. Most of the families we help live in the surrounding villages and they appreciate having a place like this nearby. We aren't here for profit or to make a name for ourselves. We just saw a need in this part of Adilabad and decided to do something about it. It’s a very grounded place. We spend a lot of time on basic skills and just being there for the kids. It’s a slow process sometimes, but we celebrate the small wins. We are just a group of people in Mudhole trying to make life a little bit better for these children and their families.
