Our group is based out of Laxmanchanda Village. You can find us at H.No: 7-66/3 right here in the Laxmanchanda Mandal area. We call ourselves Gopalamithra Laxmanchanda Farmers Producer Company Limited. It’s a bit of a long name for what is really just a bunch of local farmers coming together to manage our business. Being in the 504106 area means we are right in the middle of the community we grew up in. We don't spend much time sitting in a formal office; we're usually out where the actual farming work is being done. This company was started because we needed a better way to handle our produce and look out for each other. It’s not a corporate thing with suits and long meetings. Usually, it's just us talking over what needs to happen next for the current season. Village life is quiet but there is always something to do with the crops. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to make sure our families and the other farmers around here are doing okay. If you walk past our house number, you might see us sitting outside discussing the rain or the latest market prices. It’s just how things are done in Laxmanchanda. We take things one day at a time and try to keep the soil healthy. It’s hard work, but we prefer it this way. No fancy talk, just farming.
