Swabhiman Farmers Producer Company Limited is based at House No. 20, over in Ward No. 6 of Maheswarpur Balimela. This is where we do all our daily business. It’s just a regular house that we use for the company work. Most of us here are involved in farming in one way or another. We decided to come together as a producer company to make things a bit more stable for everyone. Maheswarpur is a good place, and being in Balimela puts us right where the action is for the local farmers. We handle the sorting and the records right here at the house. It's not a formal corporate environment at all. You’ll usually find someone drinking tea and talking about the latest crop yields or the price of fertilizer. We try to keep things straightforward and honest. The work is hard, and there are always problems to solve with the soil or the transport, but that's just how it goes. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the area and the people. Having this spot in Ward No. 6 makes it easy for folks to drop by and see what’s happening. We’re just trying to help the local farmers get their products out there without too much trouble. It’s a local effort, through and through, run by people who actually care about the community and the land we work on every day.
