Om Gurudev Secondary & Higher Secondary Gurukul

We are located in Kopargaon, and people around here usually just know us as the Gurukul. It’s a bit of a traditional setup for the secondary and higher secondary students. We don’t have a complicated address with a lot of house numbers; everyone in the area knows where we are. The atmosphere is a bit different from your typical city school. We like to keep things disciplined, and the students spend a lot of time together here. The buildings are simple and painted in plain colors. We have classrooms for the different grades, and since we go up to higher secondary, we have some basic lab equipment for the science students to use. It’s not the newest equipment, but it works for the experiments they need to do for their exams. Most of our day follows a strict schedule from the morning prayers to the final bell. We don't have air conditioning; we just use the ceiling fans and keep the windows open. The playground is mostly just open ground where the boys play cricket or kabaddi after their classes are done. It’s a quiet life here in Kopargaon compared to the big cities. We don't really care much for fancy advertisements. We just focus on the lessons and making sure the students pass their board exams. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we’ve been doing it this way for a long time now. The monsoon season can make the grounds a bit muddy, which the kids don't seem to mind, even if we do.
