Om Computers

Over in Ganesh Nagar, you can find us at Om Computers. Kalwan is a quiet enough place most of the time, but the locals coming in keep us busy enough. Most people know the street and where we are. It’s a small shop, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside or the inside really. Screens and fixing things that stopped working take up most of our time. It’s a lot of sitting and figuring out technical problems. Sometimes a customer comes in with a problem that takes all morning, and other times it is something fixed while they wait and have a chat. Cables are all over the place and a few old monitors are sitting in the corner, which we really should move one of these days. Because the weather gets hot in Kalwan, the fan is always going. Our team isn't big, just a couple of us who know our way around a motherboard. Being part of the neighborhood here is something we like. People drop by even when they don’t need anything fixed, just to say hello. It makes the day go by faster. Regular hours are kept, but if someone is in a real hurry, staying a bit later to help them out is something we try to do. That is just how things work in a place like this. Trying to be the biggest shop around isn't our goal, just being a reliable one that gets the job done. Every day we just keep at it.
