At Green Agro Wave Llp, we operate out of Suresh Chandra Mandal’s house, which is House No. N0018 in Bhartitary. This is in the Niamatpur area, not too far from the English Bazar police station. It is a busy part of the region, especially on market days. We spend a lot of time thinking about the crops and how the seasons are shifting. Farming in this part of West Bengal has its own set of challenges. We do not use big words to describe what we do. It’s just about being part of the agricultural cycle. The house is where we manage everything, so it’s a very informal setup. You won't find any corporate receptionists here. Usually, there is some tea on and we are looking over some papers or talking to someone from the village. The local area around English Bazar is always humming with activity. We try to stay grounded and focus on what the farmers actually need. It is a practical business. Sometimes the power goes out or the roads get muddy after a big storm, but we just keep going. We know the land around Niamatpur pretty well. It is about being reliable and being there when people have questions about their crops. We have been here for a while and we plan to stay, just doing our bit in the local agro scene without making any big fuss about it.
