Rajas India Dance Academy

Rajas India Dance Academy is located at 420 More. We are right near the Honda showroom and tucked behind the Navin Cinema. It’s an interesting spot because the cinema is a big landmark, but you have to go a bit behind it to find us. The academy isn't a huge studio with mirrors on every single wall, though we have enough. It feels more like a community space. We spend our afternoons and evenings here. You can usually hear music coming from the windows if you're close by. It’s a bit of an older building. We’ve had to do some repairs ourselves over the years. The floor is good for dancing, which is the main thing we care about. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know the steps. Most of our students are locals from the neighborhood. We don't go in for big advertising. People just see the sign or hear about us from their friends. Being near the Honda showroom helps with directions. It can get a bit hot in the summer because the fans are old, but we keep moving anyway. It’s a simple place with a lot of energy. We just show up, put on the music, and get to work. That’s been our life at 420 More for years now. We often stay late talking about new routines or just catching up after the last class ends.
