Jss Group

In Makdampur, things are usually quite lively. Jss Group is situated right near the Golden Star Club, so there’s always something happening around us. We are under the English Bazar police station jurisdiction. The building we are in is older, but it serves us well enough. I spend a lot of my time at the front desk, watching the people go by on their way to the club. It’s a busy street, especially during festivals or weekend events. The office itself is a bit cluttered with papers and old files. I keep meaning to clean it out, but something else always comes up. We don't have a fancy sign or neon lights. Most people just know the address and walk in. It gets quite humid here, and the ceiling fan just pushes the hot air around, but we manage. My brother usually comes by in the afternoons to help with the heavy lifting. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a good while. It’s a straightforward business. We don't try to be something we aren't. If the phone rings, I answer it. If someone walks in, I talk to them. It’s about as basic as it gets. By the time we close the doors in the evening, the street lights are already on and the club is getting noisy. We just do our bit and come back tomorrow morning.
